about me

“It’s like the pain switch is just stuck on  –  don’t know how to turn it off”

This was me. I lived in a spiral of unexplained pain for years, starting with neck pain, then moving into my hips and back.

The only chair I sat on for 18 months was an office chair.

Nobody could figure out what was wrong with me. I had weekly osteo sessions that only gave me temporary relief.

I stopped going out and doing my favourite things.  I was scared to move and exercise, I felt helpless and hopeless, and my days were spent in an exhausting search for answers.

When I eventually found the solution, I healed. I felt so grateful that I was inspired to learn how to help others who were also suffering.

The short version is that I studied with the world leaders in this revolution in chronic pain treatment, including renowned US physician Dr Howard Schubiner,  Georgie Oldfield, the pioneering global physiotherapist and UK specialist in chronic pain relief and Alan Gordon, founder of the Pain Psychology Centre.  I’m a SIRPA Pain Practitioner and  PRT Practitioner (Pain Reprocessing Therapy is currently the most effective current treatment for chronic pain).  I spent two years training with internationally renowned Facilitator and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Ghata I. Engels and I am a certified Embodied Processing Practitioner, a bottom-up approach to healing trauma and nervous system dysregulation.

I’m here to offer you hope and a way out of pain.

I’m based in Murwillumbah, Australia, but work both in person and on zoom, so we can work together no matter where you are located in the world.  To see if this approach could work for you, please book a 20-minute complimentary discovery call.  We’ll have a chat over a cup of tea and find out if we are a good match.
